Are Neck Pain And Mouth Ulcers Symptoms Of HIV Infection?
I had vaginal intercourse with European sex worker. During the intercourse conform broke off. I am not sure, but I think i was having sex for like 5-10 mins after condom broke. I am really scared and really worried if I have catched HIV. Feeling very bad and regretting why I went to do this stupidity. It s been 18 days since this incident and on 9th day, I got very terrible pain in my lower back neck for like 2 days. I used pain relief tube to get rid of the neck pain, but I could still feel the pain for like 6 days. On the other hand on 10th day, I also got loose motions just once. On 18th day, I have got small alcer in my mouth. Are these symptoms related to HIV? Do You think, I am at risk? FYI, Nurse has given me hepatitis b injection on 7th and 14th to be more protective from other STD.

The main worry is regarding HIV as she was a sex worker and condom breakage occurs. So, investigate for HIV 6 week after exposure by fourth generation ELISA testing or CMIA combo test for HIV. If you have any worries then western blot testing can be done which is confirmatory in the early period of exposure. But it is a costly test. So other choice is testing after six weeks by the above-mentioned test.
