Are Pain In Head And Neck, Nausea And Vomiting Sensation Signs Of Concussion?
two night ago I fell face first into the concrete from a bent position (trying to fix my shoe).. however this was during a concert and we had been drinking quite a bit. ended up witha cut and bruising on the bridge of my nose. this is not exactly what I m worried about I think I have a concussion. my head hurts my neck hurts my body is achy all over the place and I ve been nauseous severely all day. I didn t vomit but it was pretty close a couple times. I read enough on the internet and I m a little freaked out now do I need to go to the ER or can it wait for me to call my doctor tomorrow? is there any heads up that I need concerning a concussion? thank you for taking the time to be on here and answering this for me!
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having symptoms of headache, nausea and vomiting following head injury. These symptoms indicate concussion injury to brain if there is history of loss of consciousness following injury. This requires evaluation by CT scan and neurological examination to rule out concussion injury.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Hope this is helpful to you. Do write back to me for further questions.
Thank you With regards
