Are Pain In The Tail Bone, Frequent Urge To Urinate And Foul Smelling Urine Symptoms Of A Urinary Tract Infection?
I have been experiencing significant tailbone pain for over a week. I have also experience foul smelling urine around the same time and in the last 5 days, frequent urge to urinate, with little urine coming out most of the time. I am certain I have a UTI. Could the tail bone pain be related to UTI?
The underlying stone in form of calculus or gravels can present as pain over loin, radiating to the groin, lower back or perianal region in very rare cases, but not exactly tail bone.
However, a clinical examination and x-ray of KUB are recommended strongly for the best evaluation of the cause.
