Are Pressure During Urination And Pop Feeling Normal During Pregnancy?

I am 36 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing an extreme pressure when I urinate and sometimes i will feel a pop and experience some discomfort. Tonight I felt the pop again but this time I have white flakes in my urine that look like dead skin. Should I be concerned about this or is this normal?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

The pop sensation could just be your bladder retracting after being emptied. This is common when you hold your urine for too long resulting in a distended bladder, which also causes the increase in pressure you spoke about. I would urge you to try to empty your bladder as and when you feel the urge to do so.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
