Are Recurrent UTI S And Bladder Infections Symptoms Of Bladder Cancer?
i have experienced UTI s and bladder infections for 30 years now. blood was found in my urine under microscope 2 times but my bladder was checked and i was told no need for a biopsy. I continue to experience infections frequently, sometimes just 10 days after finishing antibiotics. i had a cancerous tumor in my right kidney and my kidney was removed in July 2014. The cancer was contained in the tumor only. No cancer left behind. I am concerned about bladder cancer? Should I insist on a bladder biopsy?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Repeated urinary tract infection has no relation with bladder cancer. You should not worry about cancer. You should go for blood sugar test to rule out diabetes. Diabetes is the most common cause of recurrent urinary tract infection. So don't worry about bladder cancer. No need of biopsy. Just be relaxed. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
