Are Red, Painful And Scab Filled Bumps On Head Signs Of Bug Bite?
My daughter had four bumps appear on her head. Bout the size of bottle cap, they re not red but she says they hurt. One of them had a sort of scab form on one and she said it feels like another one is getting a scab. She says it hurts to bend or turn her head. Could it be bug bites?

The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is papular urticaria or insect bite hypersensitivity.You should try to use mosquito nets as much as possible. Topical mild steroid cream like mometasone can be applied over the affected area.Antihistamines like fexofenadine may also be used. Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned in.
