Are Red Spots On The Fingers A Symptom Of Hand, Foot And Mouth Disease?
I am a otherwise healthy 74 year old woman. on sunday, July 29 I developed a sore throat with no signs of a cold. the throat got worse Monday and Tuesday and then I noted red spots on my fingers and very sore soles of my feet which stung when I walked. Spots there also Throat is fine now but spots still evident. Is this Hand, Foot and Mouth disease? Am I still contagious?

HFMD (hand foot mouth disease) is a possibility.
You can take analgesics like Paracetamol and take bed rest.
Take adequate bed rest and drink plenty of water.
It is a self-limiting condition and no treatment is required.
If the lesion persists you can consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
