Are Runny Nose, Sore Throat And Head Pressure Due To Smoking The Pot?

I smoked some pot two nights ago (I know it's stupid and a HORRIBLE character move for me that I will NOT do again) and yesterday I felt like my head was going to explode. Nose stuffy, then runny, head pressure, and very sore throat. Are these all results of smoking the pot? This morning I am just as "sick." I'm in my early 40's and in general good health.

yes, and especially if you do not smoke anything very often. If you start smoking (of anything) the respiratory tract is irritated and you notice it a lot. with chronic inhalation, there's still all the irritation (if not frank damage) ... but people get used to them. Is associated with increased and worse respiratory infections.
