Are Sephine And Evatone Safe To Take And Suggest Purpose Of This Tablets?

Hi doctor, My wife is 28 years old now and we have one boy of 6 yrs old. She is not getting conceived and hence we consulted with Gynacologist. She prescribed Tab. Sephine 50 mg and Tab. Evatone - 2. What is the use of Evatone -2. Can this be taken now.

Hi,

Sephine 50 mg contains clomiphene which is used to treat infertility. It is used in women who are unable to become pregnant due to ovulation problems or suffering from polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). It helps in normal development of an egg in a woman's of ovary and stimulates the release of a healthy, matured egg. This helps to treat infertility in women and increases the chance of a successful pregnancy.

Evatone contains estradiol which is used for hormone replacement therapy to treat symptoms associated with menopause such as hot flashes, vaginal dryness and itching, estrogen deficiency and thinning of bones.
