Are Sharp Pain In Ear, Bleeding Ear, Muffled Hearing After Using Q Tip Concerning?

Hi I was cleaning my ear with q tip and something caught my attention and pushed it quite hard in to the ear. Very sharp pain to begin with and some bleeding. Hearing is muffled similar to that when u get off an aeroplane. It has been bleeding on and off for most of the day. Is this something that just heels on its own I should I go and see dr/hospital? Will the hearing come back?

Many thanks in advance.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi James you have wax in your ears, while cleaning with q tip these are common injuries.
Use wax solve ear drops for 3 to 5 days and go and get you wax removed
Your hearinv will come back to normal untill and unless you havd not injured you ear drum. If you have injured you ear drum also then it will take 6 to 8 weeks to heal.
Its better to consult doctor.
