I read your query and here is my answer. your ear infection is due to your sinus infection which blocks your eustachian tube, hence leads to deposition of fluids in the ear, which then gets infected. As long as your fever is concerned, so it may be lower down because of your antibiotics which you have started. But you will feel like this for few days.
