Hello,
Get re-tested after the window and if the result is negative, you do not have HIV. You can take other tests like antigen / antibody tests or nucleic acid tests (NAT) to be on the safer side. HIV commonly presents with symptoms like
sore throat,
swollen lymph nodes, fatigue, fever, chills, rash, etc.
Since you are having groin pain and itchiness all over the body, scalp, face you are suggested to get clinically examined by a
urologist. Get tests for STD done to detect
shingles, etc. You can take antihistamines for relieve from itches. Apply ointment
hydrocortisone or lacto calamine, lotion on the areas affected.
Do not touch, scratch or pick. Do not share your toiletries with anyone. Be serious about your hygiene. Wear loose fitting cotton clothes. Your treatment will depend on the diagnosis made, you will be treated with antibiotics or antivirals if reports come positive.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
