Are Spinning Sensation In The Head And Severe Dizziness Issues Related To The Inner Ear?
For about two days I have had a couple of dizziness spells that last for a couple of minutes. Sometimes it is fleeting like and not as bothersome as the first episode which was stronger and lasted a few (10-12) minutes. It would clear up and go away, then return. I heard a description of lightheadedness and I think that may also be happening now, not as severe dizziness and head feeling like I was spinning or going to spin....Could it be an inner ear thing???????????

Hi, Thanks for the query I understand your concern. Yes. Such dizziness is termed as vertigo... &is due to problem with cochlear appratus (responsible for equilibrium)- in internal ear.. Alternatively this could be due to un corrected refractory error of eye... whuch would vanish with correction. You should consult an ENT doctor...get examined& investigated for finding basic cause (infection, inflammation or trauma ) followed by specific management. Thanks.
