Are Spots In The Pancreas Worrisome?

Hi, my nephew just went to the Dr. last wk and my sister is freaking out cause they found a spot on his pancreas and they can't do a cat scan til next wk. They told her its Visual Vised, Slightly proment, 2mm in Dia, Protions are obsecured, Prancreas otherwise unremarkable and Inferrier Veno tava grossly unremarkable. His side only brothers him when he runs, otherwise he has no problem. So, I just wanted to put her at ease... I know you can't tell me a lot without the catscan...but, is there anything you can tell me?

* A single spot on pancreas with 2 mm diameter , bothering when running
does not make a clinical picture to worry till the CT scan evaluation .

Hope this will help you for sure .
