Are Steroids Effective And Safe For Cough With Phlegm?
I’m losing my voice - happens this time of year due to allergies. This yr is particularly bad. Experiencing Cough w phlegm since Wednesday (2 nights past). I’m a public speaker & have an engagement next Fri & Sat. Short seasons 90 mins each. What dose of steroids is effective but safe? I really need to show up for this!!

The symptoms seem to be related to an upper respiratory tract infection.
I suggest using steroids for anti-inflammatory properties.
You can use prednisone.
I also suggest drinking liquids help with the phlegm.
If it continues you should use a mucolite.
