Hi,

Gastro-intestinal complains are usual side effects of all drugs taken orally, including Zoloft.

At your son's case, anxiety and panic attacks will worsen the gastric problems, resulting in the abdominal issues he is experiencing.

I'd suggest to discuss with his doctor to start a therapy with omeprazole and antiacids and to take proper medications for easing his constipation like:

- drinking more water
- give him otc Senna supplement and lactulose to soften and ease bowel movements
- advise him to eat foods high in fiber content

All the best!
