Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was trying to melt dice in the microwave for a magic trick. I put them in a metal container not knowing what would happen. When I checked on them, I saw they were melting so I opened the microwave. When I did, a smell came out and my tongue and throat started burning from the smell. Will I be ok from inhaling this?
Thanks for contacting HCM with you medical concerns
I am sorry to hear that you inhaled fumes from a melted dice. Dice are made by plastic injection molds. The melting and fumes are not toxic in such a small amount. If you do develop severe breathing problems like wheezing after inhalation you may have an allergic reaction to the fumes. If that does happen then seek medical attention immediately.
