Are The Heart Palpitations Due To Pinched Nerve In Neck?
Have a pinched nerve in my neck due to herniated disk in the vertebrae thats causing my left arm n hands to numb n tingle especially when holding my head in an upward position. Lately I'm starting to feel slight heart palpitations mostly when I'm at rest. My Doctor has already informed me that i may have to have surgery to correct the problem but until i do should i be worried about the palpitations n are they happening because of the piched nerve? I would appreciate any professional advice.
Its highly unlikely that the pinched nerve is the cause of your palpitations. Its advisable to get an ECG done during the time of palpitations to see whether the rhythm is a sinus rhythm/sinus tachycardia or not.
If its a sinus then you need not worry as stress and anxiety also causes palpitations.
Take care
