Are The Medicines, Salbutamol, Fenistil And Phenobarbital, Safe For An Infant Suffering From Flu Like Symptoms?
Hi, I am writing from Mongolia. My son is 2 months old and he has cold now, sore throat, coughing and running nose and watery eyes. it has been 2 days. Here doctor prescribed 1. Salbutamol 2. fenistil 3. phenobarbital.
is it ok if i give those medicines to my son?

Phenobarbitone is a sedative and salbutamol is a bronchodilator.
Salbutamol may be used if the cough associated with wheezing.
For the symptoms you mentioned I would like to prescribe:
flucold drops 5 drops 3 times daily.
Amoxy kid 125 mg DT 1/2 tablet 3 times daily.
Steam inhalation if possible.
