Are There Alternatives Of Keflex, Bactrim And Levaquin For Prostatitis Treatment?

I have about 2 bouts of prostatitis a year. my doctor has treated me with kelflex, Bactrim, levaquin , and one other. is one better than the other or is there something better? the dosage is 2 500 mg pills per day for up to 30 days. usually goes away within 30 days. any new suggestions? thank-you, david fetters

Tetracycline is often the preferred drug for it. So, yes, this would be an alternative antibiotic. If there is infection you will need an antibiotic.
