Are There High Chances Of Ectopic Pregnancy In Females With Curved Fallopian Tubes?
my niece has been diagnosed with infertility due to highly curved fallopian tubes - and the incidence of having an eptoptic (?) pregnancy are high. Is there surgery to shorten the tubes and make them straighter - is it serious surgery or day surgery with short recovery time?
Surgery to shorten the tubes can leave behind scars which in turn can also cause obstruction (partial or complete) in turn resulting in high risk for ectopic as well. An experienced doctor will have to handle her case and no, this surgery will not be a day care surgery.
Best wishes
