Are There Other Solutions Besides Fibre Diet To Prevent Constipation While Suffering From Piles?

i was suffering from piles in 2007. After period of 6 years it appears again. I am having acute pain in restroom. I have also noticed extra mass near anus on smaller but soft and without any pain other one seems tobe big little pointed giving acute pain while passing stool. I consulted a doctor for this. According to him i am having chronic fissure, can be treated by operation only. I am having good fiber diet and other precautions to avoid constipation. Kindly suggest me treatment other than surgery.

Hello,

Treatment of fissure consists in surgery.

Some advice that I can give to you is:
-Increase your intake of fiber and fluids.
-Soak in warm water for 10 to 20 minutes several times a day, especially after bowel movements, can help relax the sphincter and promote healing.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
