HI SIR MY SELF SHIBA I JUST WANT TO ENQUIR ABOUT THE DISEASE KNOWN AS PARADE WILL SYNDROM. MY SISTER S DAUGHTER WHO IS JUST 13 YRS OLD IS SUFFERING FROM THIS DISEASE ND PLY ALSO TELL ME WHETHER THERE IS ANY TREATMENT AVAILABLE FOR IT AND WHERE IS IT POSSIBLE.

Thanks for your query, the syndrome usually results from deletions or partial deletions on chromosome 15.
One of the main symptoms of PWS is the inability to control eating.
Sad but true , there is no definite treatment available. Strict dietary supervision, physical therapy, behavioral therapy, and treatment with growth hormone, sex hormone treatments and/or corrective surgery, treatment of curvature of the spine by an orthopedist among others might help you control symptoms.
Genetic counselling can help the disease detect early.
