Are These BP Monitoring Machines Accurate ?
i am 52 year old female i was given a 24 hour blood presure moniture to wear are these things accurate i recently had a trip to the docters and my BP WAS 171/98 THIS HAPPENED TWICE IN THE DOCTERS HE ADVISED I WORE A 24 HOUR BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR AND THIS WAS THEN TRANSFERRED TO A COMPUTER WHERE HE TOLD ME MY BP WAS FINE 130/89 ARE THESE MONITORS ACCURATE AS I AM WORRING I HAVE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE MY CHOLESSTOL WAS FINE AND ALL BLOODS CAME BACK SPOT ON

one or two reading of high BP in doctors office is quite common & known as white coat hypertension.So you don`t need any treatment,as your other test are normal.So do regular exercise with fat restricted diet.change the life style .
