Are Very Small Bumps On My Penis A Cause For Concern?
I recently noticed 4 very small bumps on my penis it s not on the head it s just on the skin. I have researched and herpes seems to be out since it says they will be painful and they don t hurt at all they don t look like warts but I just don t know. So what can it be?
Be serious about your hygiene. Clean your private area properly while bathing. Clean the smegma that often accumulates around the genitals and the foreskin. Bumps like you have should not be of concern. It is indicative of PPP, pearly penile papules, Fordyce spots, Tyson glands. Tyson glands are normal and harmless. They do not require any treatment.
Fordyce spots do not require treatment. They are harmless. They can be removed by laser therapy. PPP, pearly penile papules are also harmless but people want to be remove it for cosmetic purpose. PPP can be successfully removed by laser therapy or cryotherapy. If sexually active, you can get an STD test done to stay on the safer side.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
