Armpits Are Sore With Red Patches. Worried About The Findings?

I woke up this morning and my armpits are sore. As the day went on they got worse and had red patches. My eye was also sore, almost as though it felt raw like I had been rubbing it. My eye is a little swollen but not a ton. My 8 yr old daughter told me at dinner tonight that her armpit is sore and she has a red mark on it. Then my 10 yr old daughter said her armpit was sore too.

Hello,
Thanks for the query.
You mentioned similar condition in yourself as well as your daughter.
It can be a bacterial infection, swelling of eye is also an indicator that infection has spread by contact.
Another possibility is allergic reaction.
You might require treatment with oral and systemic antibiotic or steroids depending on the condition.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.
you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link.
