Around 4 weeks ago i noticed a dark purple bruise going from my anus to the top of my crack line. I’ve been monitoring and it hasn’t faded at all; I think the purple colour has deepened in fact. I have no pain, itching or swelling but I’m concerned this purple bruise has not faded at all in a month. My bowel movements remain the same, I often get looser stools but I think that’s due to my diet. I have had recurring bleeding now and then when I’ve had a bowel movement but I believe this is due to hemorroids. I have reached out to my doctor and I’m awaiting a blood test and stool sample but this may take awhile due to them being busy. I was wondering if this is something I should be concerned about as I’m scared and would like to seek out more urgent care if this is an issue or there could be underlying issues
