At What Rate Does BP Need Immediate Attention?

Hi Stressful day and I just took my BP and it's 153/106 pulse is 85. Should I worry too much? Was on Linsinopril but it made me cough too much now on nothing. Will be seeing my Dr this coming week and I now she'll write me a Rx for another type of BP medicine
I was wondering at what number does your BP need immediate attention?

Actually BP 153/106 needs attention.
You have measured high BP once and after stresfull day.
My advice will be to measure BP sistematically, if the values are not very high you can wait until the appointment with your doctor, who will prescribe you a new medication.
In case you continue having high BP values and feel bad you should go to doctor earlier.

Regards
