At What Weight Can Blood Pressure Medicine Be Stopped?
I want to get off of my blood pressure medicine. I weigh 201 lbs today and am working to lose 55 lbs to reach my goal of 145 lbs. I take 25 mg of lisinapril per day. I also take six to eight garlic tablets per day, and I take one fish oil tablet per day, along with my daily vitamin supplement tablet. At what weight could I start looking toward reducing or ending my blood pressure medicine?

There are some persons who are normal weight you are on blood pressure medication so it is not possible, unfortunately to say what , if any weight, would be associated with no medication.
To determine if the medication can be discontinued, after discussion with your doctor, you can monitor your blood pressure over a few days with no medications.
If your blood pressure is within range on diet and exercise only then medication can be discontinued.
