Baby Been Prescribed Emeset 2ml Thrice A Day. Can I Reduce Dosage As He Is Not Able To Consume 2ml At A Time?

Hi,
My baby is 7 months old. He is having severe cold from last 1 week & apart from that having vomitings from last 4 days. Our pediatrician suggested to use Emeset syrup 2ml once in every 8 hrs. Could you please suggest whether to take it or reduce the dosage as he is not able to take consume 2ml at a time.

Hi Ramya... Thanks for your query at HCM..
From the history you have provided, the vomiting have been for last 4 days. What your pediatrician has suggested is fine.. But what I would like to know is follwing
1. How may time baby is passing urine?
2. Is the baby active ?
3. Is baby on cow's milk or bottle fed?
Answers to this will help me in guiding you further...
For time being you can give 1ml 5min apart three times a day...
