Baby Has Blood On The Tip Of Penis, Does Not Cry When Urinating.

I was changing.my 22 month old.sons diaper this evening and it had a BM. When I was.done wipping him.and.put.on.a.clean.diaper.I noticed blood on the tip of his penis . What should I do? He doesn t cry when he pees. I m worried. Thanks

Hi Mamawells, get him checked by your pediatrician or by a urologist. Blood at tip of penis needs to be evaluated. Usually in young children it may be due to urine infection or a skin rash, or rarely urinary stones. Other causes also need to be ruled out (for eg. zipper injury). Take care.
