Baby Has Constipation, Tried Several Home Remedies, No Relief. What Should Be Done?

Hello. Um my baby s doctor office is closed and his doctor hasn t been in in a week. My baby has been having problems with BM he hasn t pooped in a week and I tried Everything I could think of...I gave him a ounce of warm water with 1/2 or sugar I gave his a warm bath and I even tried excercise but nothing has helped he is Only 3weeks and 5 days and I need help..!!!

Thanks for the query
Since he has not passed stool for one week you can use Glycerine suppositories. For your kind information for an infant it is normal to pass stool 4-5 times a day to once in 4-5 days. You can also go for thyroid profile of the baby as hypothyroidism is associated with constipation. Once he passes stool after suppository consult you doctor to rule out other causes of constipation. If nothing is there then no need to worry, his bowel will be regular with age.
