Dear friend, welcome and thanks for entrusting your query here at Healthcaremagic!
I am Dr. Prasad Akole (Critical Care Expert- http://bit.ly/Dr-Prasad-Akole) and am glad to address to your query here.
Diarrhoea is not common with
head injury, but vomiting, lethargy are suggestive of a
concussion. Fever is also not very common.
Infants have elastic skulls and do not get bad
brain injury with such drops. It is more likely to be an infective
diarrhea.
But since vomiting, lethargy may point to a brain injury, it is advisable to get him checked up neurologically by your doctor and be doubly sure. If not concussion, he needs treatment for the GI upset and fever.
Keep an eye on any other neuro symptoms.
I hope to have answered your query satisfactorily. I would be glad to answer any further queries. Take care and please keep me informed of your progress at http://bit.ly/Dr-Prasad-Akole
