Back Pain Extending To Lower Parts, Numbness In Legs, Bladder Incontinence. CT Showed Disc Bulge, Disc Degeneration. Treatment Advice?

After a significant fall at work I hurt my lower gack. Chronic pain across owe back pain throught both buttocks and downback of both legs. Some pain radiates through trt front hip, very bad dull ache in left calf muscle . AFTER A FEW DAYS passed my foot has gone numb and I have tingling down my right leg. Before tingling etc started and couple of random bladder incontinent mishps, Idid have a ct scan stating the following L3/4 A shallow disc bulge. No disc protrusion is seen.L4/5 A broad based shallow posterior disc protrution is present slightly compressing the thecal sac anteriorly.No intraforminal nerve root compression seen. L5/S1 Disc degen, degeerative intradiscal gas and subarticular sclerotic changes are present.There is a broad based shallow posterior disc protrusion slightly pressing on the thcal sac anterioraly. Cant see L5 or S1 nerve compression though. My GP then rang spcialist for urgent aopt. I went straight there. He seems unconcerned and said I will book an mRI on 16th Nov anyway just in case. With the in continence huge pain and numbness a should I seek a second opioion. Many yeard ago I saw Dr Quentin Malone and he cured my occipital neuralgia as well as sorting out my mums fusion in her neck. WHAT DO YOU THINK . I cant believe I really haave to wait this long. Im sorry but until I am reimbursed $750 from workers comp clain I have no money. Sorry for wasting your time I feel like an idiot. Cheers

Thanks for posting your query.

As per your clinical findings and CT reports , you might suffering from prolapsed intervertevral disc ( PIVD).

As your orthopaedician suggest, go for MRI to confirm nerve root compression by protruted disc and the level of compression.
