Bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis, gardnerella, etc; are some of the most common infections presenting with a fishy odour. I would thus request you to visit a gynecologist or a sexually transmitted disease specialist who will first thoroughly examine you and then advice some laboratory investigations to support the diagnosis. Once this is done, the doctor will initiate a course of medications (eg antibiotics) which will help in treating the infection at the earliest. I would also request you to refrain from any sexual contact until you are completely cured (if you are sexually active) and also request your partner to visit a doctor if he has been experiencing any symptoms.
