Bad Urine Smell, Burning Sensation In Urethra, Sore Abdomen, Swollen Tongue, Painful Joints. Taking Laxative, Colonic, Enema

about a month ago I started having a noticeable strong smelling urine that reminds me find bacon in a skillet that's about to burn. I felt no burning sensation only dull and fullnesin my urethra.also i have a really sore abdomen on my left side closer to my bellybuttonthat has been there for quite some time. I have tried everything from laxatives and enemas and colonics. I just thought maybe I had hernia so I'm just live with it. but now the urine smell has gotten so bad as well as the abdomen and now new symptoms I have swollen tongue mouth sores on tongue and inside and for tonight extremely painful joints and pain in my hair up and all down my legs that hurt almost inside the bone. I'm pretty much always I feel a key especially my neck throat and shoulders. please help me figure this out. thanks Tracy Fair

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi Tracy,

The smelling of your urine could be because of urinary tract infection. I'd ask to do urine analysis and culture and sensitivity for best diagnosis and treatment.

If you are constipated, apart taking laxative, colonic enema, I'd also suggest to drink more water and fiber rich foods.

The general feeling of being sick could be also related to UTI or kidney infection. I suggest to do abdominal ultrasound together with blood work (including kidney functioning tests).

With regards to pain, can have analgesics and vitamin supplementation.

At the end, please consult with your physician to get early treated.

All the best!
