Become A Cigar Smoker, Swollen Mouth, Swollen Gums, Swollen Lips. Am I Allergic?
Hello doc. I have recently become a cigar smoker. However, the first few times a smoked, there was no problem. But the most recent time I woke up the next morning with a swollen mouth. My tongue felt weird and i had swollen gums , under the tongue was swollen, and the spot where the cigar touched my lips was swollen. Could i be allergic?
Hi,
Yes based on the symptoms you have it seems you are definitely Allergic to Cigar Smoking. So, you will have to stop doing it.The symptoms can even get worse later involving larynx and causing laryngeal angioedema and ultimately choking. So,it's better if you stop doing this. You can get rid of the symptoms by taking Anti-Histaminic drugs.
Wish you best of Health.
