i am 23, married since last 4 months. am obese and am diagnosed tsh 5.2 . am on a regular medication of thyronorm 25mcg daily from last 3 mnths. am planning to get pregnant but its nt happening. wanted to know whether this may be somehow related to the medicine m taking.am trying to lose some weight
I think you need to wait for few more months before you press panic button. As you are trying for only three months but in practice only 50% women get pregnant in such duration.
Having low thyroid and obesity may be related and they might be causing unovulatory cycles (Ovulation not occuring). There are also a chance of PCOD which is commonly associated with obesity.
In my view you can check about ovulation using the kit available over the counter. Once you get sure that ovulation is occurring regularly than there is nothing to worry at this moment. Thanks
