Blackish On Either On The Groin Area. Have Black Dots On The Testicles. No Pain, Itching. Problem?
Hello,
In the week I noticed my groin area either side was a slight blackish colour. At first, because I was wearing dark boxers, I assumed it was from them. But 4 days later and it is still there. I also notices that these small black dots/marks are also on my testicles.
There is no pain and there is no itching; Should I be concerned?
The groin area is usually a bit darker then the surrounding skin and there is nothing to worry about it. However, if it is of very recent origin then fungal infection needs to be excluded. It shall be better that you get a scraping of the area examined for fungal hyphae. The good indicator that it may not be a fungal infection is that it is not itching.
Are the black dots on the testicles of recent origin or that you noticed them only lately. If they are not giving rise to any problem then you need not worry about them. I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.
Wishing you all the best.
