HI IVE BEEN BLEEDING FOR THREE WEEKS NOW THE FIRST WEEK AND A HALF MY BLOOD WAS BROWN AND I WAS ALSO LOSING CLOTS I WENT TO THE DOCTORS ON MONDAY AND MY DOCTOR GAVE ME PROVERA TO STOP THE BLEEDING I STARTED OF ON 10MGS THEN 20MGS AND ON FRIDAY HE UP IT TO 40MGS IT HASNT STOP MY BLEEDING BUT MY BLEEDING SEEMS TO BE GETTING HEAVIER AND IM STARTING TO FEEL LIGHT HEADED

-blood test for thyroid profile may confirm the diagnosis.

other possible cause include;

-uterine fibroids
-PCOD;poly cystic ovarian disease
-uterine polyps

confirm with ultrasound scanning for pelvis.
