Bleeding In Bowels, Intense Headache And Blurred Vision After Being Diagnosed With Whiplash. What Is Wrong ?
I had a fall down stairs and went to hospital. I was diagnosed with whiplash, possible mild concussion. They did a full X-ray of my spine with no fractures. I was then admitted to hospital the next day with bleeding from the bowel. I had a camera inserted into the bowel with no problem diagnosed. This occurred last Saturday and Sunday. I am a rower. The first time I rowed being Thursday I vomited. I raced on Friday and vomited 5 times at the 500m mark. My vision is blurred and I got an intense headache like my head was going to explode. What is wrong with me?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The bleeding in the bowels and blurring of vision is not related to the whiplash injury of the spine. The symptoms of vomiting and headache are likely to be due to fluid and electrolyte imbalance caused by vomiting. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
