Bleeding With Clots During Early Pregnancy Due To Blood Vessel Burst. Discovered Tiny Flakes With Discharge. Anything To Worry?
hi my fiancee is 8 weeks pregnant. We had bleeding and clots before 6 weeks and turned out from the ultrasound that she had bleeding outside the amniotic sac, so was guided to think it was a burst blood vessel. We were told that the heartbeat was strong and the baby has a good blood supply to it. We were told that there would be more bleeding. There was but it went to light and brown and then nothing. Lasted a few days recently with no bleeding but on Friday night my fiancee noticed tiny skin like stringy bits in the toilet bowl with bright red blood. Saturday the bleeding changed from bright to dark, and today it has been light and brown but it still has these really tiny tissue things but they looked like tiny little flakes instead of stringy. After feeling them she observed that they have a tough consistency, not like clots or discharge. We were wondering if these little flakes can be due to the burst blood vessel or is it something to worry about.
I am so sorry to hear about this troubling findings during her pregnancy. I understand how disturbing this must be to you both.. These flakes do not represent any particles from a burst blood vessel. For sure I cannot tell what it is either. The main thing is to keep following up with your doctor and reporting all noted changges. This will help them to evaluate and intervene when necessary. For sure, regular vaginal bleed during pregnancy are not common but i have seen aa few who have gone on to deliver safe without anty complications to the mother or baby. Be relaxed and calm.
