Bleeding With Discharge After Cervical Biopsy, Followed By Regular Periods Without Any Symptoms. Thoughts?
Hi i had a cervical biospy on the 25th. On the 26th i had medium bleed with the expected discharge. Initally i thought my period had come 3 days early. But then by the 27th no bleeding or discharge. My period is regular and should have started yesterday lasting four days but nothing. Ive had no psm symptoms and now wondering if ive had my period at all.
From the information you have provided, this could have been your menses. However, I will encourage you to be calm and monitor your system. Wait until when the next menses are expected before considering to seek any medical attention. It is not uncommon to notice subtle changes like this in menstrual flow.
If you have concerns that this atypical menses could represent a pregnancy from your sexual history like having unprotected sex, then please do a rapid pregnancy test to check it out.
I hope this addresses your query fully and provides enough guidance on how to follow up with this. I wish you well. Feel free to ask us more questions for clarification if need be. Thanks. Dr. Ditah, MD
