Bleeding With Pain And Blood Clots. Miscarriage?

ok i don t know if i was pregnant i thought i was but then i started bleeding and there was pain and clotting..not normal for me. the bleeding stoped but then it started back it was a different red then normal and i use tampons. so when my blood leaks through to my panty i take out my tampon and only one side has blood. is it a miscarrage or regular for pregancy or period..also i got the pains after an arguement.
