Blister On Outside Of Calf, No Pain, Change Of Color. What Could Be This?
A few days ago I noticed a blister about the size of a nickel on the outside of my calf. It's not a burn blister and I have looked at it very carefully and it does not look like a bite, it does not hurt or itch. It started out a pink almost red color but has since turned brownish almost a birthmark color but has not changed in size. Is this something to be concerned about or is it just a random blister?

Blister On Outside Of Calf, No Pain, Change Of Color. What Could Be This?
Hi, It seems that you are having bullous impetigo. It is a bacterial infection caused by either staphylococci or streptococci. Blood testing may be done to rule out DM,HIV or anaemia or other internal disease. Take a short course of antibiotics with anti inflammatory drugs. Apply antibacterial cream. Consult dermatologist for perfect diagnosis. Other bullous dermatoses may be ruled out by thorough clinical examination or skin biopsy if needed. I hope you got my answer. Wishing you early recovery.
