Blocked Nose, Difficulty In Breathing. Addicted To Octrivin. Suggestions?
Hi..I got up early because I have a blocked nose. I am addicted to otrivin. I need it to be able to breathe. I use it once in the morning and once before going off for sleep everyday. I have been using it for several months now. I didn't have it so couldn't use it last night and had a bad sleep. I want to breathe and I also want to get over this addiction. Plz help.
Thanks for query on HCM. It is better to go for steam inhalation every day to get rid of nasal blockage. This type of nasal blockage usually occurs due to allergic exposure, deviated nasal septum and even polys in the nasal cavity.Otherwise it should be ruled out by investigations and ent check up. Nsaid with decongestant and levocertize with montelukast will be helpful. Avoid exposure to dusty, smoky area. Cover your nose on two wheeler and during exposure. Avoid oily and chilled items. Try for deep breathing exercise.
