hello, i am from kolkata my wife's age is 40 years suddenly blood clot in very small amount started coming with cloudy/bloody coloured urine with itching and burning sensation during urination. having feeling of very low fever with small amount of pain in lower abdomen, pain in knee (in the early morning only while getting out of bed). Urine culture report found infections with Escherichia coli. What to do now? Is there anything very alarming? please help
hi, With the symptoms you have described your wife is most likely suffering from urinary tract infection. She needs antibiotics according to her urine culture report. It is not alarming but she might need few more investigations. Blood in urine is most commonly due to infection but it can also be there because of stone and few more conditions. She needs ultrasound of the abdomen. Visit a urologist.
