Blood In Urine. Due For Ultrasound. On Medication For BP, Acid Reflux, Cholesterol. Anything Serious?
i will be going for ultra sound soon. today i was at my doctor & he scheduled me for ultral sound. i been having a blood on my urine ( not visible) but my doc said that i have to go for ultra sound. i am taking maintenance for my blood presure,& acid reflux,& cholesterol.I have been reseaching about kidney diceases & it scares me to death that i might have cancer or something. I am 65 yrs old.i have been reading about the simple cyst & complex cyst that really made me scare. its me virginia alavarta of vancouver bc canada

Everyone of us are aware that anything under the sun can be differential diagnosis for Blood in Urine, for time being do not worry and relax. Wait for report. It can be as simple problem as Urinary tract infection, so just hope for the best.

your doctor done right thing , ultra sound is painless simple investigation that can rule out most of the problems.
