Blood Sugar Level And Cholesterol Tested. Is It Safe To Have Rosave And Glycomet After Treatment For HCV?

My blood sugar level is 157(F) and 169(PP), cholesterol 219, triglycerides 345, SGOT 109, SGPT 96. My doctor prescribed me with ROSAVE F 5 and GLYCOMET - 500 SR. I had a treatment for HCV during 2007 - 08. Will it be safe to take these medications? I also drink occasionally. I am a 46 yr old male, 5.3 ft and weigh 78 kgs

Hello,

It is safe to use rosave and glycomet follow HCV treatment because to the drugs require kidney for there excretion. So dose adjustments may not be required when the liver is involved.
