I'm not overweight, I eat pretty healthy (meat 1 time a week, but I like rice) and have about 2 glasses of wine with dinner. I ride my bike about 25 miles a week. I'm 57. My mom died od pancreatic cancer, my Dad of prostate cancer. I'm 57.ail YYYY@YYYY . My doctor is a nice guy, but hard to understand (he's from India). Please give me some diet tips. My job is veryyyyyy stressful, and I seem to be more tired.

Triglyceride is one of the form of bad fat but little different from cholesterol. It gets deposited in soft tissues and sometimes it circulates white thing into the bloodstream. It is harmful to the heart as well as maily causes obesity. Many people have these congenital problem that they can't digest it as they lack some essential enzyme. But your case is normal. They is no relation of elevated TGs with your parents. Most probably I think its a lack of excercise as you drive but still have to a little walking excercise and try to avoid junk food as they are full of such fats. besides that you start with lipid lowering drug especially for TGs is Lipofen and Tricor (fenofibrate).
